Brands with Humor – April Fools’ Day 2015

We all love someone with a good sense of humor, so why shouldn’t companies have one too? April Fools’ Day is full of harmless jokes and pranks from the ones we love– sometimes it’s frustrating, and sometimes you just want a piece of the action. But as a dutiful marketing major, I have to argue that even more amusing than the jokes from your friends and family, are the big companies that get in on the fun. Check out these what these big brands did for April Fools’ Day this year.

After sorting through all the practical jokes played on us by these companies, I think I have to award the “April Fools’ Day Spirit” award to the entire United Kingdom. Somehow, a large amount of the UK sectors of these international corporations decided to go big or go home on this day of pranks– kudos to them!

Whether these tweets actually fooled you or not, its always great to see when a company you love goes the extra mile to bring a smile to your face.
